About Inyo Networks & Associates
Inyo Networks is a registered CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) in both California and Nevada providing internet services and products (ISP) to residential, business and wholesale customers. We specialize in end-to-end broadband network solutions that require turnkey implementation from conceptualization, to design, construction, network commissioning, and customer provisioning. In addition to our ISP products and services, we are expanding into fiber optic networks development where we deliver project management, design and planning of fiber network construction, grant applications and Administration, Rights-of-Way and Permits, and local and long-haul engineering.
Inyo Networks clients include The City of Ontario California, large-scale telecommunications firms, companies and communities developing private networks, and governmental entities. Inyo Networks is currently providing ISP products and services in California and Nevada.
Inyo Networks corporate office is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California with several regional offices.
Digital 395 is a major broadband infrastructure investment by the California Public Utilities Commission and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to bring high-speed Internet and associated benefits to the Eastern Sierra region of California. The network is comprised of three major components: (1) a 450-mile long “Middle Mile” backbone between Reno Nevada and Barstow California, (2) 174 miles of local distribution fiber in over 20 communities along the route, and (3) more than 300 service connections to various community institutions and service providers. The project was conceived in 2009, received final funding in 2010, obtained permits in 2012 and was completed in 2014. The project’s total budget was approximately $109.1 Million, 24.6% of which was funded through the California Advanced Services Fund.
The project was developed, designed and constructed by Praxis Associates, Inc. California Broadband Cooperative, Inc. was created to serve as the owner-operator of the network. Inyo Networks, Inc. is under a long-term Network Services Agreement to manage daily operations.
Praxis Associates, one of the key partners in Digital 395, is responsible for designing and constructing fiber networks, as well as providing advanced network services to businesses and Indian reservations, throughout California and Nevada for 5 years. Additional projects include work with Google, Lennar Homes, Pacific Gas and Electric, City of Roseville, Mono County, and the Pyramid Lake Pauite Tribe, to name a few.
